Comedy Masala received another great press review and continues to rock Singapore! Come watch Sin City’s best weekly standup comedy night featuring the most diverse range of local and expat comedians.
This Tuesday we’re thrilled to present a triple header! BENTLEY from the UK, is travelling through Singapore and will headline again on Tues with new material. Joining Bentley is the very very unique Matt Giffen. Matt’s fast-paced style will keep you on the edge of your seats. He’s the winner of the 2011 Narrow Comedy Competition and a Finalist at the 2012 Amused Moose Laugh Off. Last and by no means least, is the amazing Bmark Seabrooks. Bmark is a professional comedy writer and has written sketch comedy for the likes of Jim Carrey, Cedric The Entertainer and Oscar Award winner Jamie Foxx. The night will also showcase 6 comics from Masala who are all ready to make you LYFAO!

There is something of the incorrigible pirate about Bentley. His stage presence, his voice, his looks and his outrageous way of dispelling rural myths all combine to produce a very funny, rustically risqué and rurally right on comedian. He’s not for the faint hearted although he can tailor his material to suit most open minded audiences. On stage he has a huge presence and is unfazed by any crowd, large or small, hostile or friendly and has established himself as a top quality act who can open, close, or compere with consummate skill.

Fast-paced, frenetic and sometimes furious, Matthew explores his roots as an Irish, Colombian brought up in Windsor and the implications this has on his unique outlook on the world with a subtle blend of intelligence and crass self-deprecation. His mum still refuses to watch. Matt’s performed regularly at Up the Creek, TNT, Downstairs at the Kings Head, at the Pleasance Dome in Edinburgh as well as numerous clubs in the UK. B.Mark Seabrooks is a professional comedy writer, who hails from Los Angeles, Ca. First discovered by Eddie Murphy, he has written television and sketch comedy for comedy icons like Redd Foxx, Jim Carrey, Steve Harvey, Cedric The Entertainer and Oscar Award winner Jamie Foxx. He now teaches television script writing, comedy and storytelling at NYU Tisch Asia.
